"Promise not to fall in love with me" might have sounded nice in the movie, however, real men don't talk like that. And, its creepy.Using lame one-liners is only going to push her further away. That is, of course, only if she didn't get completely freaked out by the fact that you memorize chick-flick lines and run away.
Instant turn-OFF.
